Biography 

George Manos is currently an Undergraduate Student (B.Sc.) at Computer Science Department, University of Crete. During his B.Sc. programme, he has received 3 times the “Stelios Orphanoudakis” scholarship, which is granted annually to the top 2% students of each academic year based on their academic performance. As an undergraduate research fellow, he worked on Retinal Image Processing on the Computer Vision Laboratory for ICS-FORTH. George has also worked as a Data Engineering Intern at Apple, in Cambridge, for the Siri Understanding team. To work on his undergraduate thesis, he also joined Speech Signal Processing Laboratory (SSPL), in collaboration with Dr. George Kafentzis and Professor Yannis Stylianou. He joined MxM in his 3rd academic year to research various data quality issues, automated data cleaning systems and influence functions while researching for new data cleaning methods, in collaboration with Ph.D. candidate Nikos Myrtakis. His interests include Data Engineering, Model Explainability, Speech and Signal Processing.
